The GRE Graduate Record Exam is changing significantly starting off in August 2011, and Barron's is now all set with a perfectly renewed test preparation handbook, revealing the newer exam's material. Despite the fact that the GRE's Analytical Writing section stays mostly the same, different question forms can be found in either the GRE's Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning parts, and the unit tests in Barron's New GRE Book 19th Edition show the following adjustments:
Verbal Reasoning - The oral section comes with a pair of new statement completion models: sentence equivalence questions, for which examinees should determine two right responses to get credit score; and text completion questions, some deals with passages of some sentences and ask for test takers to complete until three blanks . Reading comprehension questions may now have more than one right answer. Some reading questions consists of choosing particular lines with passages.
Quantitative Reasoning - Just like the past, this part includes regular multiple-choice questions, in addition to quantitative comparison questions. There are two brand-new question models: multiple-choice questions which have more than a single correct answer option, each of which must be chosen, and numeric entry questions, that are the only questions on the exam where absolutely no answer choices are supplied.
Barron's new GRE guidebook presents comprehensive training and assessment for all question models along with a diagnostic test and a couple of full-length model GREs with answer keys and solutions for all questions responded. The writers also offer an exam overview and essential chapters on test-taking strategies.
